Martin Reed Jr., age 88, of Holland passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018.

Martin worked at ChirsCraft for many years then working at baker furniture for a few years then went into business for himself for health reasons he also had a love for old cars and belonged to many car clubs during the last 40 years he loved tinkering around outside and working on old cars and also did some gardening during the summer he loved to go camping and fishing. He attended Rose Park Baptist Church of Holland.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy and five children Claudia Dozeman and her fiancé Bill Canfield of Zeeland Scott and Cindy Reed of Fennville Maryann Martinie of Holland Steve and Ana Reed of Missouri and Marty Reed of Holland. His sister Irene Roblyer of Allegan and her sons James and Rick Harris.

Grand Children Brian Dozeman of Arizona Kristi and Brandon Dykstra Zeeland Adam Reed Lindsey Reed and Brenden Reed of Fennville

Lillian Martinie of Holland, and Kaitlyn Reed of Holland, Stephanie Reed and Esteban Reed of Missouri, Maillie Reed and Camberlyn Reed of Holland including four great granddaughters of Zeeland,

Services will be 1:30 pm Friday (February 2) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, with the Rev. Vern Bareman officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
