Marjorie Horn

Marjorie Horn, age 93, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 7, 2023.

Marjorie "Marge" was born on July 6, 1929 on the farm in Overisel, Michigan to Harry and Helen Brower. She married the love of her life, Russ Horn, on November 6, 1947. Marge worked at Heinz, Cotton Products and Holland Hospital. Upon retirement, her love of God was displayed by volunteering at Holland Hospital, Evergreen Commons, Community Kitchen and Christ Memorial Church. She loved to walk with the Striders walking club and she also loved traveling. Marge was a faithful member of Sixth Reformed Church and Christ Memorial Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Russ; parents and siblings.

Marge is survived by her three sons, Larry (Loretta), Dave (Sheryl), Mike (Linda); grandchildren, Sara (Jordan) Klein, Matt Horn, Christy (James) Ewing, Dave II (Kerry) Horn, Chad (Kim) Horn, Lisa (Ryan) Jones; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters in-law, Georgiana Horn, Frances Brower, Mary Brower, Marge Pyle, Kathy Sterken; brother in-law, Pete DeVries; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Holland and Resthaven for the care provided in the last years of Marge's life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, from 11:00am to 12:45pm, at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, Holland. A funeral ceremony will be held at 1:00pm following visitation at the church. The Reverend Bill Boersma presiding. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland.
