Marion Bell, 91, of Holland, MI, entered into God’s kingdom on June 19, 2023. She was born September 16, 1931 to Maude and Lawrence Mereness.

Marion, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother is survived by her daughter; Tammy Lubbers, son-in-law; Richard Lubbers, grandsons; Geoffrey Brown, and Michael Brown, granddaughter; Alexandra Stornello (born on Marion’s sixtieth birthday), and great-granddaughter; Kairi Stornello.

Marion worked for the Navy Civil Service in Washington, DC, where she met and married the love of her life, a handsome AirForce serviceman, J Paul Bell.

After marriage, they were transferred to Hawaii, where her first daughter, Kitty was born. They were then transferred for a brief time to Japan, and after discharge, moved to California, where her second daughter, Tammy was born.

Her husband, Paul, preceded her in death in 1997.

Marion worked for years as a cost accountant after receiving her Master’s Degree in accounting from Long Beach University in California.

She was tireless in her dedication to volunteering at her local library and a prolific producer of cross-stitch masterpieces.

A memorial service will take place when she is interred at Brick Church Cemetery in Walworth, Wisconsin, where the of her family has been laid to rest.
