Marie Timmer, age 97, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, June 24, 2018.
Marie was born in Olive Center to Albert and Minnie (Lugers) Timmer on September 24, 1920.
She was a lifetime member of South Olive Christian Reformed Church where she was involved with the Loving Service Bible Study.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, brother and sister-in-law, Willis and Alverna Timmer, sister and brother-in-law, Winifred and Marvin Van Kampen, brother-in-law, Roger Koning, and a nephew, Alvin Timmer. Surviving are her sisters, Gertrude Timmer, Henrietta Timmer, Esther Koning, and Millie and Bruce Bartels; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 am Friday (June 29), at South Olive Christian Reformed Church, 6425 120th Avenue, with the Rev. Douglas Fauble officiating. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Thursday (June 28), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue.
Memorial contributions may be made to the South Olive Christian Reformed Church Mission Fund or Hospice of Holland.
