Marian Rose

Marian Hazel Rose, age 88, of Holland died Thursday August 14, 2008 in a local nursing home.

Marian was born, raised, and lived all of her life in the Holland area. She was a graduate of Holland High in 1938. She was a long time member of Trinity Reformed Church. She was the owner of the Marionette Coffee shopping formerly in Downtown Holland.

She was preceded in death by son-in-law Gary Kempkers, daughter-in-law Bonnie Rose, brother Rex Koetsier, grandsons Gary Rose and Shannon Rose.

Her family includes: husband of 69 years Robert Rose of Holland, son Cal Rose of Sebring, Fl., son Bob and Linda Rose of Ganges, daughter Helen and Tom Miller of Holland, 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren, Sisters Erma and Eugene Dewitt of Holland, sister-in-law Heidi Koetsier of St. Joseph ; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 1:00 pm Monday August 18, 2008 at the Trinity Reformed Church of Holland MI. Burial will be made in Pilgrim Home Cemetery

Visiting will be from 2-4 Sunday at the Mulder Chapel Dykstra Life Story Funeral Home 188 West 32nd Street Holland MI.
