Marian A. (Waldyk) Wiersma

Marian Alice ( Waldyk) Wiersma, age 99, passed away on June 14, 2023 at Holland Hospital.

Marian was born in Zeeland Michigan on July 10, 1923. Marian worked for many years at Banks including People's, Old Kent and Fifth-Third. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling and golf with many of her wonderful friends.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband Laverne Wiersma during World War II and her son-in-law Howard VanRaalte.

She is survived by her daughter Ellen VanRaalte-Frieswyk (Bob) . She is also survived by her grandchildren Krista Smith (Ben) and Kent VanRaalte (Laurie) . She is also survived by her great grandchildren Hannah and Madilyn Smith and Liam and Lilly VanRaalte and Aliah Nyhof.

A private burial is being planned for the family at Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to 880 Creekridge Dr., Holland, MI 49423.
