Maria E. Roa

Maria E. Roa, age 62, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021.

Mrs. Roa was born to Roman Cruz and Margarita Ramirez on June 3, 1959, in San Benito, Texas. The Roa family settled in Holland, Michigan where they raised their four children. She was a woman of God and Maria truly loved the Lord. You could find her at Jackies place for breakfast enjoying time with her family. Maria loved her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren. A woman of humility and love, Maria was always helping others. Her heart for Jesus also gave her a heart for people. Mrs. Roa was always assisting her pastors at church and was committed to her church family at Inglesia Restauracion el Arca de Noe. As a survivor of breast cancer, Mrs. Roa was a woman of fortitude. Maria was hard working and independent. She loved garage sales and knew how to bargain. Maria was loved by all who knew her and will truly be missed.

Mrs. Roa is survived by her children, Rosalinda R. Kline (Ronald), Alessandra E. Kline, Eliana M. Kline; Jose M. Roa (Amanda), Natalia S. Roa, Jose G. Roa, Alessio L. Roa, Faith A. Roa, Cresencio R. Roa; Esther Roa-Buck (Michael), Michael A. Buck jr., Maximiliano A. Buck; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cresencio Roa; son, Cresencio Roa Jr.; father, Roman Cruz Rodriguez; mother, Margarita Rodriguez.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 16, from 10:30am to 12:30pm, at the Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue, Holland. A funeral ceremony will be held at 12:30pm at the Chapel following visitation. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland. Pastor Javier Cruz and Pastor John Hutt will preside over the funeral ceremony and graveside service.

Professional service is under the auspices of the Northwood Chapel.
