Maria Allen

Maria L. Allen, 62, of Holland, MI, passed away on Friday, November 29 2019 at home. She passed peacefully in her sleep after enjoying a wonderful dinner with her family.

A celebration of life will be held to celebrate her life and the life of her Mother Edith Allen who passed away in early November in June of 2020.

A private viewing was held on November 30th 2019 for her family to pay their last respects and say their goodbyes.

Maria was born in Owosso, MI to Edith Hier Allen and Donald Charles Allen on March 20th 1957. She graduated from Lake Michigan College with her Nursing degree and worked as an LPN in long term patient care. Her favorite saying was “If I can make one day better for my patients than I have done my job.” She was a caring woman who would do anything for anyone who she felt needed help. She never turned anyone away and would do whatever she could to help.

Maria is preceded in death by her, Mother Edith Hier Allen in 2019; her Father, Donald Charles Allen in 1991; her Nephew, Joshua Fox; her Niece, Nikki Allen; and great-nephew, William Allen.

Maria is survived by her children Corey Forrester, Arianne Fadder and Veronica Allen, and her siblings Janice Iwanowski, Nancy Wineapple, Brian Allen, Angela Backus and Brad Allen. Her many grand children Mercedie Saxe, Nathan Forrester, Paige Forrester, Melanee Forrester, Ethan Forrester, Shyanna Kalus, Haley Campbell, Bryce Campbell, Logan Campbell, Khloe Vigansky, Dakota Rogers, Cassandra Rogers and her great grandchildren Landon Kaiser, Joshua Vanderaa, Alivia Kaiser and Owen Vanderaa.
