Margery Vork, 86, of Holland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday Oct. 26, 2016. She founded and operated Seasons consignment shop on the north side into her 70's. Mrs. Vork was a member of Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Henry (Ada) Smeenge; brother, George Smeenge; son in-law, Kelly Sloothaak. Marge is survived by her husband, Gordon Vork; daughters, Karen Sloothaak, Jayne (Ron) Perkins; sons, David (Nancy) Vork, Doug (Ginger) Vork; grandchildren, Melissa (Rob) Brouwer, Mark (Christine) Sloothaak, Eric Sloothaak, Emma (Brian) Cannon, Lucas Perkins, Aaron, Tony, and Jon Vork; great grandchildren, Caden, Easton, and Landon Brouwer; sister, Ruth (Carl) Nyboer; brother, Paul (June) Smeenge; in-laws, Marvin (Marjorie) Vork, Alvin (Betty) Van Den Brink, and Hennie Smeenge; nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at the Dykstra Funeral Homes - Northwood Chapel from 6-8 on Monday Oct. 31. A funeral service will take place at Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church in Holland, 4055 112th Avenue, on Tuesday November 1, at 11a.m. Pastor Matt Riddle will officiate the service. Burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made out to Hospice of Holland, and Noordeloos Christian Reformed Church in her honor.
