Margarita Salinas, age 76, of Holland died Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Holland Hospital.

Margarita was a member of Ebenezer Assembly of God. Margarita and her husband Jose founded Margaritas Restaurant in Holland. She loved to cook for family and friends and enjoyed spending time in her beautiful flower gardens. Margarita loved being with her family, especially her dear grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Sebastian and Amalia (Martinez) Garcia, her son Felix Salinas in 2009 and a brother Isidro Garcia in 2021.

She is survived by her husband Jose and children: Esmeralda Salinas and Gilbert Valverde, Jose L. and Melissa Salinas, Francisco and Yolanda Salinas, and Alonzo and Rosario Salinas all of Holland; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers and sister: Raudel and Dina Garcia of Holland, Manuel Garcia of Mexico and Maria Concepcion Garcia of Mexico; many brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Engedi Church, 710 Chicago Drive #100 in Holland. Reverend Aron Garcia will be officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.

A visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Ebenezer Assembly of God, 157 West 10th Street in Holland (additional parking at the First United Methodist Church-1 1/2 blocks east-or the Civic Center after 6:00 pm). The family asks that everyone wear a mask at both the service and visitation. Memorial contributions may be given to Ebenezer Assembly of God. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel.
