Marcia E. Washburn

Marcia Ellen Washburn (nee Bosch) was born on September 30, 1942 and died on June 13, 2025.

Marcia was a lifelong resident of Holland, 1960 graduate of Holland High and attended Davenport College. Marcia loved Jesus, her family and crafting - creating art in many different forms from sewing to painting. She contributed her beautiful singing voice to the choir at Christ Memorial Church. She had a knack for zapping you with zingers with her quick wit which could always bring a laugh to any situation. In recent years, she enjoyed almost daily trips to Kollen Park where she was always looking for whales.

Marcia is survived by her loving and doting husband of 60 years, Stewart; her children Susan (Steve) Hardman, Steve (Jessie) Washburn, six grandchildren: Joel (Arlet), Kira, MJ, Macky, Quinlan and Eleanor; one great grandchild: Jaelynn; her siblings Keith (Diane) Bosch, Alan (Jayne) Bosch, Kathy Linden, Mark (Genny) Bosch; her in laws - Barb Davidson, David Washburn, George (Carol) Washburn and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Willis and Genevieve Bosch and sister Leslie (Robert) Groen.

There is comfort in knowing she is finally at peace. Her endless love for her family will be her lasting legacy.

A visitation will be held at Christ Memorial Church, 595 Graafschap Road, Holland, on Tuesday, June 17, from 1:00pm to 1:45pm. A funeral ceremony will be held following visitation at 2:00pm.
