Luella Mae Kammeraad, 90, of Holland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Holland, she was known for her gentle spirit, deep faith, and unconditional love for those around her. She dedicated her life to family, faith, and community, serving with quiet strength and compassion. Whether in the kitchen or the garden or at her church, she brought warmth and grace for everything she did. Luella is survived by her devoted children; Randy and jackie Kammeraad, Barry and Deb Kammeraad, Laurie Kammeraad Vergeson, and Shelley and Tom Kassion; her sister Laurie Ryzenga . She also is behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry her legacy of love and kindness. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday (June 13), at the Rose Park Reformed Church, 14241 Rose Park Drive, with Rev. Mark Waterstone officiating, where our family and friends will gather to celebrate Luella’s life and legacy. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday (June 12), at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Beautiful Soul Ministries in honor of Lou’s generous heart. Her life was a blessing and her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
