Loren Jay Verburg went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 18, 2021.
He was born in Grand Rapids to Lewis and Henrietta (Boer) Verburg on September 23, 1940. Loren was preceded in death by his first wife, Amy and great granddaughter, Madeline Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife Mary and her son Craig (Mary) Lynema; Loren’s children, Laura (Mark) Anderson, Steve Yvonne) Verburg, and Lew (Cathy) Verburg; many grand and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bob (Carol) Verburg, Dale (Willa) Verburg, and Mary Poest.
Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday (September 22) at Trinity Reformed Church. Burial will be in Overisel Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Tuesday (September 21) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
