Linda Hammond

Linda Hammond, age 84, of Laketown, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

Linda was a longtime resident of Laketown Township. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening and horseback riding. Over the years Linda traveled throughout the United States and she especially enjoyed visiting the Smokey Mountains and North Carolina. Linda also loved nature and visiting northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula. She had an easy smile and witty sense of humor. Linda was loved by everyone that knew her and she will truly be missed.

Linda is survived by her three children, Todd (Kathi) Hammond, Allen Hammond, Jennifer (Dathan) Zang; grandchildren, Kyle, Alec, Kayleigh, Troy, Tate; great-granchildren, Jayce, Rhyse; cousin, Bill Steininger.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tanya; brother, Mike Ackerberg.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Ms. Michelle Manfredonia, for her kindness, support, and care shown to Linda over the last year.
