Mr. Hopkins was born on June 25, 1945 in Holland, Michigan to William “Harry” Hopkins and Grace Nettie Brown. Mr. Hopkins grew up north of Holland on the family farm. Even after several retirements he ran an auto garage out of his poll barn and was always willing to help anyone, rain or shine, often for nothing more than a thank you. Mr. Hopkins also enjoyed riding motorcycles, collecting guns and going fishing. He had a heart for people and a gregarious personality. Mr. Hopkins had a heart for animals, especially dogs. Mr. Lewis Wayne Hopkins was loved by all who knew him and he will truly be missed.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his; children, Bobby Donald, Lewis Jr., Jessica and Tina; grandchildren, Ben, Hunter, Elizabeth, Bobby Jr., Sammy, Bryan and Autumn Lynn, Shawn, Johnathan, Brittany, Jodi Lynn, Kevin, Timothy, Bryton, Brett, Phillip; former spouse, Bev Bonita.
