Kathleen Ann (Kate) Oonk of West Olive, Michigan passed away March 16, 2022 at home surrounded by her husband, children, and grandchildren.
Kate was born in Muskegon, MI to Lauren "Mike" and Charlotte "Joni" Huntoon on April 17, 1951. She graduated from Holland High School. She was a manager and bartender at the Wooden Shoe Taproom for many years but finished her career at Gentex Fire Protection. She enjoyed cooking and gardening, but mostly she enjoyed taking care of her husband, children, and grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Mike and Joni Huntoon; sisters, Joni Ortman, Jodi Uren; brothers-in-law, William "Bill" Rietveld and Ross Oonk.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Oonk; children, Tammy Resseguie, Todd Resseguie Sr.; grandchildren, Todd Resseguie Jr., Erika (Christopher) Le, Alexis Resseguie, Rebecca Griswald; great-grandchildren, Matthew Le, Laim Fagan, Ariella McCob; brother, Mike (Rose) Huntoon; sister, Bonnie (Richard) Houting; brother-in-law, Dwayne (Sharon) Oonk; sister-in-law, Dawn Oonk, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 23 from 4-6pm at Dykstra Funeral Home - Northwood Chapel.
