Karol Lynn (VanderMyde) Dogger, age 82, of Holland passed away on December 2, 2024.

Karol was born in Chicago, Illinois to Henry and Catherine (Laverman) VanderMyde on December 11, 1941. Karol graduated from Lakeview Hich School in 1960. She married Allan Dogger on August 22, 1964. She attended Holland Gospel Chapel for over 50 years, where she played the organ and piano and helped to coordinate and organize many church gatherings. She blessed many with her love of baking, which usually included banana bread, brownies, various desserts or a variety of cookies. She spent endless hours sewing quilts for family, friends and various others in need. She also loved to go thrift shopping at many stores in the Holland area.

Karol is lovingly remembered by her son and daughter; Scott (Kelly) Dogger and Tara (Eric) Raad, her grandchildren: Kiersten Dogger, Steven (Abi) Dogger, Tori (Zach) Johnston, Jason Dogger, Cameron Dogger, her great-grandchildren:Canyon and Lane Johnston, Sister: Joanne Black, Brother: John (Kathy) VanderMyde and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allan in 2010, her twin brother and sister-in-law: Henry and Sharon VanderMyde, sisterand brother-in-law Elaine and Randall Dodde.

Funeral service will be held at Holland Gospel Chapel, 106 W 26th St in Holland on Saturday, December 7 at 11 am. Family and friends can meet with the family for visitation at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 32nd street in Holland on Friday, December 6 from 5 to 8 pm. A private burial will be held at Graafschaap Cemetery in Holland.
