Karen J. Holmes, age 79 of Holland, peacefully passed away August 6, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Karen was married to her loving husband Ralph for 54 years. Karen loved building relationships, encouraging others, and was a true disciple for the Lord. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and will be missed greatly.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents Joe & Jo Dozeman along with her brother Paul Dozeman.
She is survived by her husband Ralph; daughter, Kim (Phil) DeKock; son, Doug (Sarah) Holmes; grandchildren, Nichole (Mike) Knapp, Matt DeKock, Lindsey Holmes, Carson Holmes; brothers, Ken (Jean) Dozeman, Jack (Sue) Dozeman; sister-in-law, Marcia Dozeman-Caudle; best friend of 67 years, Linda Jipping, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, August 9 from 5-8pm at Central Park Reformed Church (614 Myrtle Ave, Holland). A memorial service will be on Friday, August 10 at 11:00am at Central Park Reformed Church with Rev. Kevin Kleinheksel officiating.
