Judith Maatman

Judith Ann (Stickney) Maatman, age 69, passed away on August 23, 2023, while under hospice care in Holland.

Judy was born in Holland, Michigan on February 23, 1954, to the Reverend Kenneth Arthur Stickney and Marie (Sietsema) Stickney, and attended public schools in the Holland area. She retired from the Magna Donnelly Corporation and worked as a product demonstrator. Judy was particularly interested in nutrition and had a vast knowledge of vitamins, herbs, and food supplements. She enjoyed thrift shopping, dining out, socializing with her friends, and supporting progressive political causes.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carol Stickney. She leaves behind a son, David Wolters Jr., her brother Arthur Stickney (Rose Lamb), her niece, Julie Stickney, her special friend and companion Jerald Creason and many friends.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, August 28, 2023, at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Rev Ben Hernandez will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm at the Mulder Chapel prior to the service.
