LTC Ret John (Jack) Charles Haley, 82, of Holland, MI, passed away on March 2, 2025.

Jack was born in Denver, Co to Bernard and Bertha Haley on the 23rd of October 1942. He attended Pueblo Catholic High School and graduated in 1960. He went on to earn a BA inChemistry from Colorado State College Pueblo. He was drafted by the US Army in 1966 and was selected for Officers Candidate School and received his commission as a 2nd Lt. in 1967. He served in the 198th Infantry Brigade in Vietnam from ’69-’70 where he was awarded two Bronze Stars. He retired from active duty as a lieutenant colonel in 1986. After the army Jack worked as a military systems and environmental consultant.

Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years Judy (Morton) Haley of Holland, MI, his daughter Kari Haley of Portland, OR, his son Sean Haley and wife Kathleen Haley, and grandson Connor Haley of Holland, MI, his brother Henry Robert Haley of Pueblo, CO, his sister Bernadette Ossola of Carbondale, CO, and his brother Bernard Haley of Greeley, CO.

Funeral service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1145 S Aspen Rd., Pueblo, CO on the 28th of March at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project in the name of LTC John C Haley.
