John Dennis Gaydos, age 67, of Holland, formerly of Lansing, died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Hospice House of Holland.
John was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. He was a veteran of Vietnam serving in the US Marines. He retired from the State of Michigan in 1997.
He is survived by his wife Judy of 47 years; sister; Joan Miller of Brighton; nieces, Susan and husband Rick Gardell of New Jersey, Deborah and husband Jean Thomas of Ada, Angela and husband Mark Milad of Plymouth, Tina and husband Jim Sukis of Brighton, and mother-in-law: LaVerne Ruff of Holland.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street in Holland. Father Charles Brown will be officiating.
Burial with military honors will be at Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Homes – Mulder Chapel.
