Jimmy Weaver

Jimmy Weaver, age 83, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Jim was a proud Vietnam veteran and devoted father to Brian and Joe. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and quiet strength. A cherished pillar of the Holland community, Jim spent 55 years in the grocery business, where he brightened countless days with his warm smile, friendly words, and genuine care for everyone he met. Known for his unwavering work ethic and humble spirit, Jim earned respect both in the military and throughout his community, often serving others without seeking recognition. He lived his life with consistency, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping people in any way he could.

Above all, Jim will be remembered for his loving heart, his devotion to his family, and the many lives he touched through simple acts of generosity and grace. His presence will be deeply missed, but his kindness and example will live on in all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 5, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland.
