Jeanne Louise Prince, age 96, of Macatawa, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 5th, 2017 at Resthaven Care Center in Holland. Jeanne was born to Earl and Marie Price in Paris, Illinois on December 14, 1920. She grew up on Cherry Street in Holland and graduated from Holland High School in 1938. She graduated from Albion College in 1943 and was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Jeanne married Larry Prince in 1943. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother. Jeanne’s greatest joy was her family and her special love was felt by everyone. As residents of East Lansing for 34 years, Jeanne and Larry became avid Michigan State Spartan fans. They spent many afternoons in Spartan Stadium watching the Green and White. After returning to Holland in 1980, they remained season ticket holders for 65 years and Jeanne was still attending MSU football games last fall.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Prince in 1992, sister Frances Hallan in 2009, and brother William Price in 2013.

Jeanne is survived by her children: Charlene Lawrence (Doug) of Indianapolis, Jackie Nailler (Robert) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio and Jeff Prince (Lynn) of Holland; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Abby Price of Holland and Margret Prince of Holland; and many loving nieces and nephews.
