Jeanne Hays, age 77, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at American House.
Jeanne was born in Detroit, MI on April 15, 1938.
She was a self-employed seamstress for many years.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James Hays, in 2013 and a step-son, David Hays.
Surviving are her children: Jeffrey and Stacey Cummings of Inman, SC, James Cummings of Holland, and Cathy and Cal Schepel of Holland; step-daughters, Jean and Don Arnold of Royal Oak and Lara Javalyn and Tyson Merriam of Ontario, Canada; 5 grandchildren; Zack Schepel and fiancée Stephanie Weber, Chris Schepel, Lance and Beth Cummings, Sarah and Jason Agar, Maggie Cummings; 2 step-grandchildren, Aaron Sirota and Thomas Merriam; great grandchildren Caleb and Carleigh Agar;
sister, Anny Skiles of Holland; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private memorial services will be held Thursday. No visitation is scheduled. Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery.
Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Northwood Chapel.
