Jason Wyngarden, age 94, of Holland died Friday, July 1, 2022 at American House-Holland.
Jason was born in Vriesland, the son of Nelson and Maggie (Vredeveld) Wyngarden. He was a member of Rose Park Reformed Church. Jason retired from Bennett Wood Specialties in 1993.
He was preceded in death by his first wife June (Van Slooten) Wyngarden in 1988, second wife Marian (Bell) Wyngarden in 2017; son Jeffrey and sister Ruth Klingenberg.
He is survived by his children, JoAnn Staat of Zeeland and Dave Wyngaarden of Owensboro, KY; 3 stepchildren; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sister Dorothy Smallegan of Zeeland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday (July 8) at Rose Park Reformed Church, 14241 Rose Park Drive in Holland. Rev. Mark Waterstone will be officiating. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 AM prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland or Rose Park Reformed Church.
Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel.
