Jane Curtiss

Jane Curtiss, age 74, of West Olive, went to be with her Lord, Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Holland Hospital.

Jane was born in Portage, MI on August 16, 1938. She graduated from Portage Central High School and attended Western Michigan University. Jane moved to the Holland area in 1977. After raising three sons she was employed by Trendway. She was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School and helped in the church kitchen for over 20 years, and was a former member of the First Reformed Church of Portage where she and her husband served as youth leaders.

Jane is survived by her husband, Gene of 54 years; children, Kyle and Jackie Curtiss (Colton, Casie, and Coby) of Zeeland, Kevin and Nan Curtiss (Ryan, Dillon, and Keaton ) of Hinsdale, IL, and Kirk and Jing Curtiss (Calvin and Nora) of Scottsdale, AZ; sister, Annetta Corstange of Kalamazoo; in-laws, Gary and Sandy Curtiss of Matawan, Carol and Roger Brock of Otsego,and Margaret Schuring of Portage; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Memorial services will be 11 am Wednesday at Fellowship Reformed Church, 300 N. 168th Ave., with the Rev. James Baar officiating.

Burial will be in Port Sheldon Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue.
