James Frank Schackow, age 50, of Holland died Thursday, January 16, 2014.
He was employed at Donnelly Corporation for 20 years. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, loved sports and thoroughly enjoyed attending his son’s ballgames at West Ottawa. He liked watching the Detroit Lions and Tigers.
Jim is survived by his children: Susan Schackow, Jimmy Schackow II, Matt Schackow all of Holland; mother: Susan and Ken Newton of Holland; brother and sister: David Schackow of Holland; Sarah and Brian Schackow-Reed of Grand Rapids; nephew: Alex Schackow of Grand Rapids.
A memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Harderwyk Ministries (Anchor Building) 1627 West Lakewood Blvd. in Holland.
Reverend Gordon Wiersma will be officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
