James Bagladi

James Bagladi, age 92, of Holland, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his home. Jim was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Holland when he was 7 years old. He owned and operated Holland Ready Roofing for many years with his brothers, John and Frank. Jim was an avid outdoorsman and a sports enthusiast. He was preceded in death by a son James “Clip” Bagladi, brothers, John and Frank, and sister, Goldie Almgren. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Irene “Peach” Bagladi; sisters, Eleanor Modrak and Mary Lou DeCristafaro; several nephews, nieces, and cousins. Private family services will be held Thursday. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Dykstra Life Story Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Ave. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bruce Bruursema Youth Bowling Scholarship Fund, PO Box 2444 Holland, MI 49422.
