Jacquelyn Swierenga Vogelzang, age 94, of Holland, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Mrs. Vogelzang was born in Chicago, Illinois, November, 1928 and moved to Holland in 1957. She was a member of Providence Christian Reformed Church, a Realtor/Broker for 21 years, a designer for Ebelink's Floral, a member of Women's Literary Club, a Calvinette leader and a Sunday School teacher at Maple Avenue Christian Reformed Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Swierenga in 1990; second husband, John Vogelzang in 2004; brother, David Vander Weide in 2005; sister, Catherine Prince in 2011; son, John B. Swierenga in 2016; sister, Pearl Heerspink in 2016; son in-law, Roger Van Liere in 2018.

Jacquelyn is survived by her children, Dr/Col Donald J. and Cheryl Swierenga of Holland, MI and Catherine Van Liere of Zeeland, MI; step children, Mary and Don Swierenga of Grand Rapids, MI, Kris and Max Michmerhuizen of Holland, MI, John C. and Cindy Vogelzang, of Holland, MI; sister in-law, Helen Vender Weide of Drenthe, MI; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 18 step-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Sunday, May 21, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland. A funeral ceremony will be held on Monday, May 22, at 11:00am, at Providence Christian Reformed Church, 821 Ottawa Avenue, Holland. Reverend Keith Doornbos officiating. Interment will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery, Holland.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Back to God Hour or Hospice of Holland.

Funeral arrangements are under the auspices of the Mulder Chapel.
