Ida Vorenkamp, age 95, of Holland died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at American House Holland.
She was a member of Rose Park Reformed Church. Ida enjoyed knitting, gardening and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Egbert “Ep” Vorenkamp and a daughter Sia Vorenkamp.
She is survived by her children: Hank and Marlain Vorenkamp of West Olive, Wilm and Roger Leenheer of Zeeland and Arie Vorenkamp of Zeeland; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brother-in-law: Geert Vorenkamp, and sister-in-law: Antje Notenbomer both of the Netherlands, and nieces and nephews, and cousins.
A special thank you to all the girls at American House for the special care they gave to mom.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Rose Park Reformed Church, 14241 Rose Park Drive, Holland, MI 49424. Rev. Dave Van Opstall will be officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to American House Holland. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel.
