George E. Wilson

George E. Wilson, age 57 of Grand Haven, passed away July 19, 2023 at his home.

George was born April 7, 1966 in Saginaw, Michigan to father Richard C. Wilson and mother Hope Guadalupe Cruz. George worked at Holland Hitch as a welder, and he retired from Hydro Aluminum as a CNC Operator. George enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching TV, playing cards and spending time with his girlfriend Debra Jones and the grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Crystal Wilson, his father, Richard Charles Wilson, and an uncle, George Cruz.

He is survived by his children: Annette (Isaiah) Ambrosini, Michael Wilson and Jonathon (Jeannie) Wilson; grandchildren: Matthew Hernandez, Jacob, Ethan, Alessandra Ambrosini, Keana Velez, Alexis Wilson, Brianna Wilson, Liliana Wilson, Ailea Wilson, Nevaeh Wilson, Anita Espinoza, great grandchildren Luna Rodriguez, Alaynna Marie Vega, Axel Rodriguez, Antonio Velez-Vega; sister; Michelle (Tim) Blizzard; brother: Donald (Lisa) Wilson; nieces, Amelia Wilson, Talia Almanza, Olivia Trevino and great niece Maylsa Almanza.

A Celebration of life service will take place on Thursday, July 27 at 4:00pm with an hour of visitation prior starting at 3:00pm at In His Presence Ministries, 4521 Monitor Road, Bay City Michigan 48706. A luncheon will follow the service.

Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Downtown Chapel.
