Eluteria “Terry” Castillo, age 82, of Holland, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

She was born in Pleasington, Texas, on February 20, 1941 to the late Liberato and Marcelina Briseno. Terry was employed by Prince Corporation for many years. She was a long time, active and devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Terry was active in the P.T.A. at St. Francis, Camp Fire Leaders and Cub Scouts. Terry was an avid reader and was also known for her quilting. She also had a special place in her heart for the Detroit Lions and traveling. The family traveled all over the east coast, west coast, the south west and Mexico for mission work. Terry joined her husband fishing every chance that she could. She had a love for the outdoors and would often take her grandchildren camping. Terry was loved by everyone that knew her and she will truly be missed.

Terry is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jose Castillo; children, Elizabeth Castillo, Theresa Jumper, Felipe (Melanie) Castillo, Veronica Castillo; grandchildren, Monica, Donielle (Joshua), Joshua (Jaylene), Nicholas (Saron), Alyssa, Ieshia, Jacob (Leanne), Hailey (Dan), Mariah, Marissa (Cole); great-grandchildren, Maklyn, Zane, Ruby, Madyson, McKenna, Joshua, Jaxson, Shayleigh, Addison, JJ, Charlotte, Jacob, Emma, Emery, Archer, Gabriel, Amelia; siblings, Maria (Francisco), San Juana (Luis), Rosa (Neives), Juan (Debbie), Cesario, Liberato (Sharon); sisters in-law, Otila (Juan), Ruth, Filipita.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents, Liberato & Marcelina Briseno; brothers, Henry, Steven; great-grandchild, August; brothers in-law, Fabian, Roy; sister in-law, Mary.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 19, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, at the Mulder Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Home, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland, MI. A rosary prayer will be held at 5:00pm, on the night of visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 20, at 11:00am, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 171 West 13th Street, Holland, MI. Father Luis Garcia presiding.
