Elizabeth Kiser

Elizabeth Kiser, age 88, of Holland formerly of Coloma, Mi., passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Resthaven Care Center.

Elizabeth was an avid reader, she enjoyed, baking, canning and gardening. Loved spending time with her family, loved making her family happy. Always had an “I love you, sweetie”, and a kiss and hug. Elizabeth loved life and encouraged everyone to take time to enjoy life. And Elizabeth loved her, Resthaven Care Family. WE LOVE YOU MOM AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU AND MISS YOU, TOU ARE OUR SWEETIE. She was preceded in death by her husband William Kiser (1971), son Doug Kiser, daughter-in-law Kathy Kiser (2011) and a sister Virginia Thacker (2010).

She is survived by her children: Daniel Kiser of Three Oaks, MI, Jimmie and Edna Kiser of Coco Beach, FL, Donna Cowsert of Holland, Paul and Paulette Kiser of Watervliet, MI, Betty and Keith Hetig of Alabama, Brenda and Louis Rutherford of Holland, Linda and Kenneth Worley of Maryville, TN; Many grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Northwood Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Homes 295 Douglas Ave. in Holland.

Reverend Linda Knieriemen will be officiating.

Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given to Resthaven Care Center.
