Eleanore Bolt

Eleanore (Mimi) Lindgren Bolt, 96, of Holland, Michigan passed away on July 14, 2023.

Eleanore was born in Chicago, Illinois to Isobel and Gustav Lindgren on May 8, 1927. She worked in the advertising industry until marrying her husband, James Bolt (now deceased). She was an avid reader, fabulous cook and loved to entertain. She was always the life of the party. After Jim’s retirement, the couple travelled extensively and pursued their hobby of attending antique auctions, refinishing many of the treasures that they found. Eleanore moved to Holland in 2007 to be near her family.

Eleanore is survived by her daughter, Joyce Bolt Clegg (Robert Clegg), granddaughter, Jordan Clegg Ruhl (Kersh Ruhl), and great-grandchildren, Colette Ruhl, Marlowe Ruhl, Dexter Ruhl and Madeline Ruhl, all of Holland.

Eleanore’s ashes will be interred next to her husband in Lake Forest, Illinois at Lake Forest Cemetery. A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
