Elaine R. Viening, age 82 of Zeeland, passed away August 31, 2022 in Holland.

She was born in Holland to Henry and Johanna DeBoe and went to Holland Christian Schools. Elaine worked at Hamilton Farm Bureau for 20 years and volunteered at the Congregational Kitchen in Allegan. She enjoyed painting, crafts, gardening, and traveling. Elaine and George spent 22 years wintering in Seabring, FL, where they made a lot of friends over the years. Her biggest joy however, was her family. She never missed an opportunity to attend a family dinner, where she could enjoy time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Elaine was preceded in death by her son, Glenn Viening along with many siblings and in-laws.

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, George Viening; children, Scott (Jami) Viening, Carol (Pete) Kaper; grandchildren, Renee (Bryan) Breuker, Kurt (Jude) Viening, Scott Kaper, Tanya (Tim) Koning; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Marcia Jones; brother and sisters-in-law, Marylou DeBoe, Ken Viening, Terry (Judy) Viening, Henry (Norma) Viening, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
