Efrain Reyes

Efrain Reyes, age 60, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026. He was born on September 7, 1965, in Mercedes, Texas, and spent most of his life in Holland, Michigan, where he built a life centered around family, hard work, and the things he loved.

Efrain attended Holland High School and went on to become a dedicated truck driver, a profession he proudly worked in for 13 years. Known for his strong work ethic and dependable nature, he took pride in providing for his family and supporting those around him.

He was a loving husband to his wife of 30 years, Kristina Reyes, and a proud father to his two daughters, Katrina Reyes and Rebecca Reyes. Family was the most important part of Efrain’s life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Efrain had a passion for working with his hands. He enjoyed fixing cars, tinkering with CB radios, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. Whether helping someone repair a vehicle, sharing stories, or enjoying a day by the water, he was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.

He was preceded in death by his family members Maria Reyes, Eleazar Reyes, and Aaron Reyes.

He is survived by his wife, Kristina Reyes; his daughters, Katrina Reyes and Rebecca Reyes; and his siblings, Glenda Reyes, Eleazar Reyes Jr., Holly Guajardo, Raudel Reyes, and Raul Reyes. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Efrain’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he passed down, and the many lives he touched throughout his lifetime.

An evening viewing and visitation will be held Monday, March 16th, at Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel at 188 West 32nd St., Holland, MI 49423 from 4pm to 8pm.
