Edna "Bekken" Dykema of Holland, faithful servant of her Savior, Jesus Christ went to be with her lord on August 3, 2016 at the age of 91. She joyously joins her husband Edwin, and her son David and is survived by her children Sandy (Dave) VanDorp, Kathy (Dave) Hill, Mike (Mary) Dykema, Tom (Cindy) Dykema, 11 grandchildren , 17 great grandchildren, along with her brother Ernest (Barb) Bekken. She loved god and was a charter member of Faith Christian Reformed church and served others as a seamstress, school bus driver, and later on as a volunteer at the Holland Free Clinic and Evergreen Commons.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 5-7pm on Friday, August 5 at Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel 188 West 32nd St. Holland. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00am on Saturday, August 6 with an hour visitation prior at Faith Christian Reformed Church, 85 West 26th St. Holland.
In lieu of flowers , the family requests memorial contributions be designated to Evergreen Commons, or Holland Free Health Clinic.
