Douglas R. Bennett, age 66, of Holland passed away Monday, April 8, 2024, at Blodgett Hospital.
Douglas had a passion for fishing and hunting and had a talent for making his own lures. He was engaged in the fish and game club and competed in several tournaments. Douglas also enjoyed traveling.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Virginia (Range) Bennett, sister Judith Bennett and longtime friend Karen Walton.
He is survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and per Douglas’ request, there will be no services. Burial will be in Pilgrim Home cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Harbor Humane Society. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Homes-Northwood Chapel.
