Doris Van Tubbergen

Doris J. VanTubbergen, age 91 of Holland passed away on June 2 at Appledorn Assisted Living

Center in Holland, Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Jeanette Nyland, her husband Gary in

2009, her daughter Elaine, and her son's Bart, Tom, and Phil. Also by her sister Audrey

Whipple, and brother Earl Nyland.

She is survived by her children Brian and Bonnie of Holland, and Karl and Sara residing in

Ecuador. Also by her grandchildren Jenny and Mark Heidema, Paul and Jenny VanTubbergen,

Mark and Staci Graham, and Courtney VanTubbergen, also her 5 great-grandchildren, and her

brother Roger Nyland.

Doris lived in Holland all her life, and was happily married to her husband, Gary for 61 of those

years. They had 6 children together. Doris had a great love for music, and her and Gary even

owned Lakewood Music Store for several years. They also enjoyed traveling, managing to visit

all 50 states and other places across the world.

We all say goodbye Doris. Rest in Peace. A private family graveside will be held at Graafschap Cemetery. No services or visitations are scheduled. Arrangements are by the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel.
