Doris Berghorst, age 71, passed away on April 16, 2014. Sadly, Doris was preceded in death by her son, Larry; brother Gary Vanoosterhouten; and sister Sandra Czerkies.
She is survived by her husband, Nelson Berghorst; sons Rick (Janet) and Scott; grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Slager, Ryan Slager, Lacey Nelson, and Ryan Jackson; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Roger Czerkies; sister-in-law Donna Redder; brother-in-law Wayne (Marsha) Berghorst; brother-in-law Vern (Bonnie) Berghorst; brother-in-law Richard (Marge) Berghorst; sister-in-law Joyce Raab; brother-in-law Jack (Phylis) Berghorst; and sister-in-law Linda (Elwyn) Becksvoort.
A memorial visitation will take place at the Dykstra Mulder Chapel on Friday, April 18 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
The family has requested that any donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
