Life Story / Obituary

Donna Jean Brink Wiley, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, peacefully went home to her Lord and Savior on November 22, 2016, two days before her 87th birthday.

Donna had a great love for children. When her children started leaving the nest, she decided to get a part time job at the local elementary school lunchroom to fill her empty hours and the sounds of children. That job also brought her out of a quiet, shy woman to one who could reach out to others. God used her many times as she spoke quietly, giving someone reassurance. Donna was a member of First Baptist Church of Holland.

She left behind her loving husband of 68 years, Kenneth Wiley, children who honored her, Jan and Keith Parrott of Holland, Jean Wiley of Cleveland, OH, Ken and Heidi Wiley of Grandville, Rick and Rhonda Wiley of Holland, Don and Sue Wiley of Saugatuck, Doug and Amanda Wiley of Holland, 12 grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at First Baptist Church, 1066 East 8th Street in Holland. Reverend Bruce Sabados will be officiating. Burial will be in North Holland Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to First Baptist Church or Emmanuel Hospice, 2161 Leonard Street, NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Arrangements are by Dykstra Funeral Home – Northwood Chapel. To leave a memory please visit www.dykstrafuneralhome.com
