Donald M. Welch, age 80, of Holland, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Donald retired from Hart and Cooley 2004. He had also worked at Bohn Aluminum and Eaton Corporation in Kalamazoo. Donald served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Charlene.
Donald is survived by his wife, Linda of 26 years; children, Cindy and Robert Rude of IN, Jeanne and Scott Hayner of Whitmore Lake, Donalene and Robert Hicks of Kalamazoo, Ashley and Chris Miller of Grand Haven, and William Harman of Holland; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; brother, Bob and Bonnie Welch of Kalamazoo; brother-in-law, Bruce Melhorn of Hamilton; several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
No services are scheduled.
Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday at the Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Harbor Humane Society or Heartwood Lodge.
