Dolores Tattan age 88 of Holland MI. died at her son’s home Wednesday December 20, 2017 in Zeeland, MI.
Born in Monroe, MI., Dolores got a Master’s degree in Education and taught at White Special School in Detroit. She married James Vincent Tattan in August of 1949. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Dolores moved to Holland following retirement and enjoyed 9 years at the Rest Haven Warm Friend where she made many friends. She enjoyed books, travel and swimming.
She was also preceded in death by a son Michael Tattan in 2011.
She is survived by her children; Dr. David Tattan of Zeeland and Kathileen Tattan of Bisbee, AZ., as well as grandchildren; Sarah, Tim, Anna and Julia.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday December 23, 2:00 PM-5:00PM at the Downtown Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 29 East 9th St. in Holland.
