Denis Tabachuk

Denis Tabachuk, age 73, of Holland, Michigan, passed away on February 2, 2026.

Denis was born in Rutherford, New Jersey, and lived a life marked by dedication, loyalty, and hard work. He pursued his education at Northwestern College and Hope College. He spent 33 years with Eldean’s Shipyard, where he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and pride in his craft.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia (Kuna) Tabachuk. Denis was preceded in death by his parents, William and Evelyn Tabachuk, and his sister, Susan Spatola.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, from 5:30pm to 7:00p.m. at the Dykstra Funeral Home – Downtown Chapel, 29 East 9th Street, Holland, MI.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 4, at 11:00 a.m., at Saint George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 334 La Grave Ave S.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49503 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
