Debra J. Schuurman

Debra J. Schuurman, age 71, of Holland, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Deb was born and raised in Holland, Michigan. She attended Holland Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1972. She was a homemaker in her early years and later worked at and retired from Resthaven Care Center. She loved her family dearly, especially her animals (her dog Coco). She played in a couples dart league and was one of the best. She also loved to crochet, diamond dot art, bowling, and in her later years she started gardening.

Deb is survived by her loving husband of almost 52 years, Darris Schuurman; children, Dean (Cammie Reed) Schuurman, Daniel Schuurman, Dawn (Steve) Quintero; grandchildren, Ricky Castro, Clayton Schuurman, Kyle Schuurman, Madison Quintero, Marissa Quintero, Chace Quintero and one great grand-baby on the way (it's a boy); parents, Bob & Carol Glover; siblings, Bob (Ingrid) Glover, Diana (Graeme) Morgan, Mike (Kathee) Glover, Tammy Glover Otten. She was loved by everyone that knew her and she will truly be missed.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, May 23, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, at the Dykstra Funeral Home - Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street, Holland.
