Daniel Mark Putnam, 69, of Holland,Michigan passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2025

Dan was born in Adrian, Michigan to Leonard & Betty (Curry) Putnam on May 17th, 1956. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University. He worked as an Embedded Software Engineer for Whirlpool for 24 years. He received several patents while working for Whirlpool. Dan had a deep appreciation of many music genres, loved the sound of live music, learned to play guitar and ukulele, enjoyed photography, movies, cooking, learning new computer skills. He loved to learn.

Dan is survived by his wife Karen Martin. Siblings Ann (Henry) Tschetter of Rockford MI, Sally (Dennis) Wigent of Cedar Springs, MI, Karen (Scott) Singer of Schaumburg, IL, Martha (Lenny) Yakaboski of River Head, NY, Sisters-in-law Sonya (Andy) Menchinger of Benton Harbor, MI, Gloria Martin of California, Brother-in-law Jack (Teresa) Martin of Eau Claire, MI, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his Mother Betty Putnam, his Father Leonard Putnam and his Brother David Paul Putnam.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 15 from 4-6pm at Christ Memorial Church - Chapel, 595 Graafschap Rd. Holland. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:00am, also at Christ Memorial Church - Chapel. For those who are unable to attend the service in person, a livestream will be available HERE
