Constance June Thornhill died on October 25. She was born August 7, 1924 to Dorothy and Thomas Holman in Watertown, NY. Connie graduated from Watertown High in 1942 where she made many lifelong friends. Following graduation she worked as a service office representative for the New York State telephone company in Syracuse, New York. After WWII she reconnected with Harold (Hal) Thornhill who had been a childhood playmate. They married, in Watertown, following Hal’s graduation from Clarkson College and had two children, Thomas and Kate.

Hal worked for General Electric and, in 1957, they were transferred to Holland where they lived the rest of their lives. Hal died in 2013.

Connie was very involved in several service groups including Hope Church (where she was a member for over 60 years and helped develop the Memorial Garden there), Women’s Literary Club, Holland Garden Club, Martha Kilkenny Hospital Guild, P.E.O. Chapter D.F. She enjoyed playing bridge, entertaining friends, traveling, spending time with her grandchildren Dan, Jeff, Hilary and Eric, and retirement winters in Orange Beach, Alabama.
