Constance “Connie” Joy Top, 84 of Hamilton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24th.

She will be remembered as a loving and joy filled wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Connie truly loved being married to Ivan Top for 66 years. She cherished her family and friends, enjoyed her garden and flowers, and the beautiful sunshine. She was a member of the Hamilton Reformed Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Genevieve Haakma and her precious grandson Michael Poll.

Connie’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her husband Ivan; her five children, Tami and Randy Poll, Jan and John DeWyze, Terry Top, Jill and David Koopman, Tracy and Lon Haverdink; 15 grandchildren, Matt (Lynnette), Mitch (Kristin), Kim (Jordan), Missy (Ian), Sara, Mark (Danzi), Tiffany (Ben), Tabitha (Tim), Jonathan, Rebecca, Ben, Luke, Levi, Andrea (Nicholas), Amanda (Charles); 18 great-grandchildren, sisters Sally Boerigter, Carla and Dale VanderPoppen; brother-in-law Merle Top, sister-in-law Gloria and Lloyd Lohman; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 28th at the Hamilton Reformed Church, 3552 Lincoln Road. Pastor Ron Lugten will be officiating. Burial will be in the Overisel Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 27th at the Hamilton Reformed Church. A special thank you to Hospice of Holland for their caring and compassionate staff. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
