Carrie Mills

Carrie Ellen Mills, age 46, of Holland passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at Holland Hospital.

Carrie passionately devoted her life to caring for family and others whether young or old. Carrie and Jerry were very involved in their children’s sports from age 5 yrs. thru semi-pro ball. She was preceded in death by her father Burton in 1999.

Carrie is survived by her husband Jerry of 28 years and children:

Christopher Mills of Holland and Tamera Mills of Holland; grandson: Devin Mills; mother: Lillian Haakinson of Holland; mother-in-law: Arleen Mills of San Jose, CA; brothers and sister: James Haakinson of Holland, Elizabeth Costa of Kelseyville, CA, John Haakinson of Neveda City, CA; sister-in-law: Kimberly Mills of San Jose, CA; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 4:00 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Mulder Chapel – Dykstra Funeral Homes 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Reverend Aaron Garcia will be officiating. According to her wishes cremation has taken place.
