Carolyn Veldhoff

Carolyn (Carrie) Veldhoff, age 91, of Zeeland died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Providence Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Bejou, MN, she resided in Holland most of her life. She was a member of Sixth Reformed and Calvary Reformed Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and loved to sing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Veldhoff in 1996 and a brother Peter Hibma.

She is survived by her children: Diane Kurtz of Cincinnati, OH, Tom and Donna Veldhoff of Hamilton, Dave and Connie Veldhoff of Holland, James and Eunice Veldhoff of Holland, Lee and Sybil Veldhoff of Hudsonville; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters: Bernice Hibma of Holland, Lena Hibma of Holland; brothers: Bernard and Shirley Hibma of Holland, Sidney and Edna Hibma of West Olive; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Dykstra Funeral Homes – Mulder Chapel 188 West 32nd Street in Holland.

Reverend Dan Carter will be officiating.

Burial will be in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service at the chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
